Since starting our own business Susan & I have introduced a few traditions. Reflecting upon the year that's been and looking to the year ahead is one of them. We take the time to review what's worked and what hasn't. We know it's important to learn from both however we thought we'd share with you a few of the things we are truly grateful for in 2018.
Susan & I began our business over 3-years ago so we've been working in the social media space for quite a while now. In 2016 we had a guest blogger write about the importance of video on social media. Since then it's importance has continued to grow. This is evidenced by the fact all platforms have added or improved their video capabilities. In this blog I'm going to touch on the importance of video and provide some tips on how to start on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
Why is Video Important?
Many small businesses have a desire to use social media to grow their business. It makes sense. Other than word of mouth, how else can you have a one on one relationship with potential customers for FREE?
E-Learning is just another thing we do online these days and it's popularity is set to continue. There are many reasons why companies of all sizes are tapping into this type of training. It's flexible. It's available 24/7. It's time and cost effective.
For small business owners it's essential. Often we're required to truly "multitask" and do things outside our area of expertise. So what better way than taking advantage of an online course to up-skill yourself. One of the greatest benefits of an online course is you can do it at your own pace and when you've got the time to focus on it.

Nobody likes being sold to. We've all experienced it haven't we. Where you get the feeling the only thing on their mind is to get the sale. They do all the talking and NO LISTENING. Telling you all about the product or service they're flogging. They don't take a second to consider what it is you're actually after. They break all the best-practice sales rules.
